Thinking of selling? Now maybe the time.
Fall may be an ideal time to put your home on the market. Buyers who are the housing market between Labor Day and New Year’s tend to be the most serious buyers we have. They’re not just looking they need a home and they need now. Housing inventory in the Tri-Cities continues to decrease. There are fewer home on now on the market and there have been in the last 10 years.
Don’t think people only buy homes in the summertime. Empty-nesters are those folks who just sent the last child what college are seriously considering if they really need all that extra space. Often times they’re looking to downsize and now is the time they start the search.
Younger couples who have been renting are deciding it’s time to put down roots in a home of their own. Who doesn’t remember the first Thanksgiving and Christmas in their first home.
It short there are a lot of reasons at home buyers coming to the market between now and New Year’s with home and inventory at a ten year low now could be a great time to list your home with the Re/Max Results Byrd Home Team.
